Designing Your Own Small Bathrooms

Posted in Home Designs

Sinks are probably the most important parts of bathroom vanities, irrespective of the size of your bathroom. However, if your bathroom is small, consider a freestanding sink. It not only gives some considerable visual on the small bath but also it gives an advantage of enough space to move around comfortably. Pedestal sinks, on the other hand, do not offer storage. Make sure you have a medicine cabinet, shelves and stacking baskets below the sink that can easily add storage to compact spaces. And console sinks can provide you a good medium between a pedestal sink and cabinet-style bathroom vanity in an efficient way. It features an open shelf at the bottom and has a classic design. But if the storage has less priority, don’t hesitate to choose a pedestal sink or a console sink.

Wall-Mount

Having a wall-mount vanity is very useful if your bathroom is small. It is simply attached to the wall and enough space is available beneath your sink. This design looks simple and elegant and gives a large space for you to walk around comfortably. And storage depends upon the design of your vanity. Sometimes it is simply a countertop and sink, whereas some other designs have small cabinets beneath it and offer you storage. You will have enough storage space to store all your essentials like soaps, shampoos and conditioners. Apart from giving you plenty of space in your bathroom, wall-mount bathroom vanities give your bathroom a cleaner look.

For cleaner bathroom, hire a tile and grout cleaner to maintain the cleanliness of your bathroom.
